A love story:

Alyssa had always dreamed of visiting the fjords of Norway since she was a little girl. Originally from the United States, she met British man Anthony while they were both backpacking through Europe. Anthony was immediately struck by Alyssa's adventurous spirit and love of the outdoors.

After dating long-distance for two years, Anthony decided it was finally time to pop the question. He surprised Alyssa with tickets to Norway, inviting her to elope with him among the natural beauty of the Norwegian landscapes she had always admired.

The couple checked into a charming bed and breakfast on the edge of a fjord in Western Norway. The next day, they embarked on a day-long hiking and kayaking expedition led by a local guide. As they paddled through azure waters surrounded by sheer cliffs dropping into the ocean below, Anthony couldn't wait any longer. He had Alyssa stop paddling and turned to her with a romantic proposal. Overcome with joy, she enthusiastically said yes.

That evening, their guide Léif officiated as Alyssa and Anthony exchanged hand crafted Norwegian wedding rings and personal vows on a secluded beach at sunset. Afterwards, they enjoyed a private dinner among the wildflowers, celebrating their marriage under the light of the midnight sun. As they spent their first night as husband and wife under the stars, Alyssa knew this was just the beginning of their lifelong adventure together in the beautiful country that brought them even closer.
