*Heartfelt Elopement in Lake Como*

Jess and Jake met in San Diego, California where they were both living separate lives but yet going to the same spots. After their first coffee shop date, they found out that they were neighbors! After that, they became inseparable and could not get enough of each other. Jake was leaving on a month-long trip to Europe, and Jess decided to be spontaneous and meet him there. Jess likes to say they fell in love in Italy, as that was their first trip together! After that, they had the travel bug and couldn't stop! Traveling the world together made them realize how they have the same outlooks and desires out of life. In fact, both had the dream of getting married overseas somewhere privately so deciding to elope in Italy was an easy choice!

They reached out to Somewhere Crazy with the idea of eloping in Lake Como. While they’d never been, they were mesmerized by the pictures that they’d seen online. They had a call with our Italian wedding planner Lara, who quickly started putting together the pieces of their elopement. The couple began their elopement with a delivery of flowers which put a big smile on the bride’s face. At 10 am they were joined by their Coordinator, Photographer, and Videographer, who documented them getting ready for the big day. An hour and a half later, the couple had their first look at the beautiful staircase of a historic villa that they were staying in. They then headed to their ceremony spot in the beautiful gardens, took pictures, and enjoyed a toast with prosecco - our gift to the couple. At 1 pm they took a boat ride admiring the impressive Italian villas scattered around the lake. At 2 pm, they were taken back to their accommodation when the sun came out to greet them.
